The NVBM-PHSSAS Series PCIe SSD duplicator excels in speed, capable of copying at an impressive rate of 24 GB per minute on all HDDs simultaneously. Its high-speed performance remains consistent, even as the number of target devices increases. This makes it an ideal choice for manufacturers and professionals who require fast and efficient data duplication.

Intelligent Duplication Modes

The NVBM-PHSSAS Series offers a variety of intelligent duplication modes to cater to different application demands. Users can select the appropriate mode based on their specific requirements.

Illustration of Copy Modes

This feature provides a visual representation of the areas containing data during the duplication process. The areas being copied are marked in red, while the areas containing data are marked in blue. The duplication time depends on the speed supported by the hard drive's controller chip, ensuring accurate and efficient duplication.

Cross Interface Duplication

The NVBM-PHSSAS Series PCIe SSD Duplicator automatically detects NVMe/SAS signals, enabling seamless cross-interface and cross-protocol duplication. It facilitates efficient duplication between devices with different interfaces, ensuring compatibility and ease of use.

Note: When performing cross-protocol duplication, it is recommended to use a data disk. If you are copying an OS system, it is advisable to use the same protocol device to ensure proper booting into the operating system.

Support Firmware Upload

Multi-slot PCIE firmware loading. Supported firmware format: .sig .enc.

CRC Checksum for Data Accuracy

The NVBM-PHSSAS Series incorporates a CRC checksum mechanism during the duplication process. This mechanism performs a bit-by-bit comparison to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the copied data. By activating the CRC checksum, users can have confidence in the fidelity of the duplicated data, minimizing the risk of errors or data corruption.

High-Speed Transfers and Wide Compatibility

With transfer speeds of up to 24 GB per minute, the NVBM-PHSSAS Series ensures fast and efficient duplication. It supports various file systems, including Windows (FAT16/32/64, NTFS), Linux (ext2/ext3/ext4), and Mac (HFS, HFS+, HFSX). This wide compatibility ensures seamless integration with different operating environments and file systems, providing flexibility and convenience.

Open Platform Design for M.2 Connectivity

The NVBM-PHSSAS Series supports NVMe and SATA M.2 as well as SAS devices with its open platform design. It simplifies the connection and disconnection process through its cable-free design, making it easier to work with M.2 devices. It supports both M key and B+M key for all M.2 PCIe and M.2 SATA devices, allowing for versatile compatibility.

Log Report Management for Task Details

To facilitate enhanced management and tracking, the NVBM-PHSSAS Series offers log report management. It records all task details, providing a comprehensive overview of the duplication activities performed. With the log reports, users can review and analyze the details of each task, enabling better workflow optimization and quality assurance.

In conclusion, the NVBM-PHSSAS Series M.2 (PCIe)/SAS Duplicator and Sanitizer is an advanced and versatile solution for professional data duplication and sanitization needs. With its automatic detection capabilities, high-speed transfers, wide compatibility, and comprehensive features, it empowers users to efficiently duplicate and sanitize data across different interfaces and signals. Invest in the NVBM-PHSSAS Series today and experience the convenience and reliability of this advanced duplicator and sanitizer.

Questions & Answers

Q1. How does the system differ from the files copy and whole media copy modes?

In system and files copy mode, the focus is on identifying common formats like Linux (ext2/ext3/ext4), Windows (NTSF, FAT16/32/64), or Mac (HFS, HFS+, HFSX), and selectively copying the relevant data and formatting from the media. This mode generally ensures faster copying.

On the other hand, whole media copy mode initiates the copy process from Logical Block Address (LBA) 0 and continues until all addresses have been copied. It duplicates not only your data but also includes any areas that might not contain your data.

Q2. Why does the screen display a "No Update File" message during a BIOS update?

  1. Confirm that the BIOS file has been extracted from the zip archive.
  2. Ensure that the update partition uses a Master Boot Record (MBR) partition table and is formatted with FAT32.
  3. Store the BIOS file in the root directory of the device without any subfolders.
  4. Save the BIOS file on another device and ensure the device is of reliable quality.
  5. Re-download the BIOS file and save it again. Temporarily disable any software utilities that could interfere during the download process.
  6. Verify that the BIOS file corresponds to the specific product model requiring the update.

Q3. What causes immediate failure to duplicate data after starting the copy process?

  1. Ensure that the source device's capacity is smaller and does not exceed that of the target device.
  2. When duplicating an NTFS formatted source device, the target device capacity must be at least 1MB larger than the source.
  3. Verify the accessibility of the source device using a PC to detect any errors.

Q4. Is it possible to copy from a 500 GB drive to a 250 GB drive?

Yes, it is possible, but the total data and formatting on the 500 GB drive must be less than the capacity of the 250 GB drive. If you are using a GPT partition table, the backup partitions will be stored at the end of the 500 GB drive. To avoid copying the backup GPT partition, disable the corresponding option in the settings. The backup will be restored upon the next reboot in a PC.

Q5. What is the purpose of the internal SSD?

The internal SSD serves as a storage location for users to create drive images, either directly or by utilizing the GOB software. These images can then be stored on the internal drive and used as a source. The available slots on top of the drive become eligible targets for the image transfer.

Q6. Why is the actual copy speed slower than the quoted speed?

The quoted copy speed mentioned in the specifications represents the maximum achievable speed. However, the copy process is limited by the read and write capabilities of the drives involved. Drives with substantial amounts of data may experience decreased speed over time due to heat buildup.

Q7. Can this machine duplicate SATA drives?

Absolutely, this machine supports both NVMe and SATA protocols. The M key and B+M key M.2 interfaces are inherently supported. Additionally, the optional adapter, TB1589, adds compatibility with the traditional SATA interface.
