Overview

Intelligent Copy Option

The Intelligent 9 series USB drive memory card duplicator offers intelligent copy options to suit different needs. The Systems and Files mode enables copying only the data area, reducing the copy process duration. It supports various file formats such as Windows, Linux, and Mac. In cases where the file system format is not supported, the duplicator switches to the Whole Media copy mode, which copies the entire media.

Impeccable High Speed

With its advanced technology, the Intelligent 9 duplicator maintains impeccable high speeds even with multiple targets. It can copy up to 2GB per minute on all devices simultaneously, ensuring efficient duplication without speed degradation.

User-Friendly Design

The duplicator incorporates a user-friendly design for ease of use and convenience. It features modular sockets that allow for quick replacements, reducing downtime and cost in the long run. Additionally, its ergonomic and compact proportions reduce its size by 50% to 70% compared to traditional designs. The device also ensures high compatibilities with various USB devices, thanks to its unique redundant power design.

Quality Testing/Checking Functions

To ensure optimal performance and eliminate poor-quality USB drives, the Intelligent 9 series offers built-in quality testing and checking functions. These functions include read-only tests, capacity checks, write/read tests, read/write speed checks, quality tests, burn-in tests, and flash speed and capacity filtration. These tests help identify and remove subpar USB drives, ensuring reliable duplication.

Real-Time Monitoring and Event Log Report

The duplicator allows real-time monitoring via a PC connection, enabling users to keep track of the duplication process. Additionally, it generates an event log report that records the duplicator's operation, system, and target information. This report serves as a valuable tool for production quality control and yield analysis.

Questions & Answers

What are the differences between "Quick" and "Whole Media" copy?

Quick Copy: (Function 7.2 - System and Files) Selectively copies only the data-containing areas within supported formats. It analyzes data formats, capacities, and locations. If the source data exceeds the target’s capacity, the copy fails.

Whole Media Copy: (Function 7.2 - Whole Media) Skips analysis and performs a full bit-by-bit duplication of the entire source. It’s slower but ensures maximum accuracy.

Why is the duplication process slow?

U-Reach flash duplicators support up to 33MB/sec. If you notice slow speeds, use Function 6.2 Measure Speed to test the device. For example, if writing speed is 10MB/sec, 1GB will take ~2 minutes to duplicate.

What diagnostic tools are available for the flash duplicator?
  • Function 4: Media Check – Bit-by-bit check for bad sectors.
  • Function 6.2: Measure Speed – Measures read/write speed in 10 seconds.
  • Function 6.3: Capacity Check – Detects the true capacity to identify fake devices.
How can I ensure data duplication accuracy?
  • Use Function 6.8 Calc. Checksum to verify data source consistency.
  • Use Function 2 Compare for hardware-based bit-by-bit verification of target devices.
Why do I see a "No Update File" message during BIOS update?
  • Ensure the BIOS file is unzipped and not compressed.
  • Place the BIOS file in the root directory of the drive.
  • Try saving the file to another working device.
  • Redownload the BIOS file and disable interfering software.
  • Verify that the file matches your product model.
What causes immediate duplication failure after starting the copy process?
  • Make sure the source data does not exceed the target device’s capacity.
  • When duplicating NTFS sources, the target must be at least 1MB larger.
  • Verify the source using a PC to confirm no errors.
  • Ensure SD cards are not locked if they’re being used.
Why do some ports show a red light after duplication?
  • If a specific socket always shows red, it may be worn out — contact your vendor for replacement.
  • Poor-quality flash adapters (MicroSD-to-SD or USB) can cause instability — switch to another brand.
  • Unstable flash quality may require repeated attempts — this increases the risk of data loss.
  • Use Function 7.9 Working Mode to lower transmission speed for improved copy success.
Why isn’t my flash device recognized after inserting it?
  • Low-quality adapters can cause detection issues — try switching brands.
  • Ultra-slim USBs may need USB extension cables for proper detection.
  • Multiport adapters or all-in-one readers are not supported — use single-format readers only.
Can I copy a 2GB device to a 1GB device?

Yes, as long as the data and formatting on the 2GB source fit within the 1GB target’s capacity.

Can I copy a 1GB device to a 2GB device?

Yes, but the 2GB target will inherit the source’s file system. For example, the 2GB device may be recognized as only 1GB unless reformatted.

Can I copy encrypted data?

It depends on the encryption method (software vs. hardware). Follow this two-step testing method:

Step 1: Try Data Area Copy

  • Green light, device works: Copy OK
  • Red light at start: Device not detected
  • Green light but unreadable: Go to Step 2
  • Red light mid-copy: Go to Step 2

Step 2: Try Whole Media Copy

  • Green light, device works: Copy OK
  • Green light but unreadable: Likely encryption prevents duplication

If even Whole Media Copy fails, the encryption may be bound to a specific serial number or model, making duplication impossible.
