How does the system differ from the files copy and whole media copy modes?

In system and files copy mode, the focus is on identifying common formats like Linux (ext2/ext3/ext4), Windows (NTSF, FAT16/32/64), or Mac (HFS, HFS+, HFSX), and selectively copying the relevant data and formatting from the media. This mode generally ensures faster copying.

On the other hand, whole media copy mode initiates the copy process from Logical Block Address (LBA) 0 and continues until all addresses have been copied. It duplicates not only your data but also includes any areas that might not contain your data.

Why does the screen display a "No Update File" message during a BIOS update?

  1. Confirm that the BIOS file has been extracted from the zip archive.
  2. Ensure that the update partition uses a Master Boot Record (MBR) partition table and is formatted with FAT32.
  3. Store the BIOS file in the root directory of the device without any subfolders.
  4. Save the BIOS file on another device and ensure the device is of reliable quality.
  5. Re-download the BIOS file and save it again. Temporarily disable any software utilities that could interfere during the download process.
  6. Verify that the BIOS file corresponds to the specific product model requiring the update.

What causes immediate failure to duplicate data after starting the copy process?

  1. Ensure that the source device's capacity is smaller and does not exceed that of the target device.
  2. When duplicating an NTFS formatted source device, the target device capacity must be at least 1MB larger than the source.

Is it possible to copy from a 500 GB drive to a 250 GB drive?

Yes, it is possible, but the total data and formatting on the 500 GB drive must be less than the capacity of the 250 GB drive. If you are using a GPT partition table, the backup partitions will be stored at the end of the 500 GB drive. To avoid copying the backup GPT partition, disable the corresponding option in the settings. The backup will be restored upon the next reboot in a PC.

What is the purpose of the internal SSD?

The internal SSD serves as a storage location for users to create drive images, either directly or by utilizing the GOB software. These images can then be stored on the internal drive and used as a source. The available slots on top of the drive become eligible targets for the image transfer.

Why is the actual copy speed slower than the quoted speed?

The quoted copy speed mentioned in the specifications represents the maximum achievable speed. However, the copy process is limited by the read and write capabilities of the drives involved. Drives with substantial amounts of data may experience decreased speed over time due to heat buildup.

Can this machine duplicate SATA drives?
