The NVS200 adopts a high-level FPGA closed platform design, ensuring a secure environment for data duplication. This design eliminates the possibility of virus infections, making it a reliable choice for sensitive data duplication tasks.
Easy Plug and Copy Operation
The U-Reach PCIe duplicators, including the NVS200, offer a user-friendly Plug and Copy operation mode. With just three simple steps—power on, plug in, and press OK—the duplication process is initiated. This intuitive interface makes the NVS200 accessible to users with varying levels of technical expertise.
Multiple Copy Modes for Versatile Duplication
The NVS200 provides four copy modes to meet different duplication requirements:
-
- Quick Smart Copy: This mode copies data while skipping blank areas, ensuring efficient use of storage space. It supports various file system formats, including Windows (FAT16/32/64), Linux (ext2/ext3/ext4), and Mac (HFS, HFS+, HFSX).
- All Partitions Copy: In this mode, all partitions and data on the source device are copied to the target device, ensuring a complete duplication of the original data structure.
- Percentage Copy: This mode allows users to specify the percentage of data to be copied from the source device to the target device. It provides flexibility when dealing with large data sets.
- Whole Copy: The whole media copy mode supports all system and proprietary formats, providing a comprehensive duplication solution for various types of data.
No Waiting Time Required
One of the key advantages of the NVS200 is its ability to start the next round of duplication immediately after completing the previous round. There is no waiting time or need to restart the machine, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency.
Native Support for NVMe and SATA Protocols
The NVS200 utilizes an M.2 interface with native NVMe/SATA protocols, eliminating the need for converter chips. This direct transfer of data enhances compatibility and ensures smooth and reliable duplication.
FPGA-based Platform for Seamless Duplication
The NVS200 is built on an industrial-grade FPGA (Field-Programmable Gate Array) platform. This design not only facilitates cross-interface and cross-protocol duplication but also eliminates the need to restart the system after each round of duplication. The FPGA-based platform ensures seamless and uninterrupted duplication processes.
Note: When performing cross-protocol duplication, it is recommended to use a data disk. For duplicating an operating system, it is advised to use the same protocol device to ensure proper booting into the operating system.
M.2 & SATA Cross-interface Mode
The cross-interface design of the NVS200 allows for direct copying on the duplicator without the need to install drivers or restart the system, even when using different interface devices. This feature provides convenience and flexibility, catering to the needs of customers with various types of devices.
High Compatibility for Diverse Data Formats
The NVS200 offers high compatibility with various data formats, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. The quick copy mode supports Windows (FAT16/32/64), Linux (ext2/ext3/ext4/LVM), and Mac (HFS/HFS+/HFSX) formats. Additionally, the whole media copy mode supports all system and proprietary formats, ensuring comprehensive duplication capabilities.
The duplicator is designed to support 18TB+ capacities, allowing for duplication of large data sets. It is compatible with both MBR and GPT partitioning, providing flexibility for different partitioning schemes.
Dual Data Verification: Compare + CRC
The NVS200 offers dual data verification capabilities to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the duplicated data. In addition to the standard bit-to-bit comparison function, it utilizes the CRC (Cyclic Redundancy Check) international calculation standard. This standard confirms the correctness of the data and verifies whether the source data is accurate. Users only need to confirm the CRC value at the end of the copy to ensure the accuracy of the duplicated data.
