The Golden Series includes everything in the Silver Series plus three premium capabilities that production and compliance-focused teams depend on:
Event Log Reporting — Every duplication, erase, format, and test operation is automatically recorded with timestamp, port number, function executed, pass/fail result, run time, device capacity, and serial number. Export reports to a CF card as a text file for audit documentation. The log stores up to 60,000 records and cannot be altered without a password, making it tamper-resistant for compliance environments.
Burn-In Testing — Stress-test CF cards with repeated write/power-off/read cycles to identify marginal NAND flash before it reaches production. Configurable from 30 minutes to 30 days, with user-defined loop counts (up to 99,999), data patterns, error tolerance thresholds, and per-loop compare counts.
Dual Source Compare Mode (DSCM) — Designate Port 1 as the copy source and Port 2 as an independent compare source. After duplication, the system verifies targets against the second source — eliminating the possibility that a worn or degrading master card introduces silent errors. This guarantees maximum reliability for mission-critical deployments.
Key Features
-
-
3.9 GB/min Per-Port Copy Speed
The FPGA-based multi-core processor drives all target ports in parallel at up to 3.9 GB/min per port. Whether you're copying 7 or 39 cards at once, every port operates at the same speed — no degradation as you add targets. -
Completely Standalone — No PC Required
The Intelligent 9 is a self-contained system with its own processor, memory buffer, LCD display, and four-button control panel. Power it on, insert your source and target cards, select Copy, and press OK. A computer is never required for any function, though optional PC monitoring is available via USB link. -
Two Copy Modes
- Quick Copy (System & Files) — Automatically analyzes the source's file system (FAT16/32/64, NTFS, Linux ext2/3/4, Mac HFS/HFS+/HFSX) and copies only sectors that contain data. A 2 GB image on a 32 GB card copies only the 2 GB, dramatically reducing duplication time for partially-filled cards.
- Whole Media (Bit-for-Bit) — Copies every sector from the first to the last, including empty space, hidden partitions, and proprietary formats. This mode captures an exact binary image of the source — essential for forensic duplication, bootable media, and cards with non-standard file systems.
-
Three Sanitization Modes
All erase functions are compliant with NIST SP 800-88r1 Clear guidelines.- Quick Erase — Wipes the file allocation table while preserving the FAT format structure. Fast, suitable for non-sensitive reuse.
- Full Erase — Overwrites every sector on the card with zeros, destroying all data and formatting. Complete but slower.
- DoD Erase — Three-pass overwrite compliant with U.S. Department of Defense standard DoD 5220.22-M: first pass writes all 0x00, second pass writes all 0xFF, third pass writes random data. Suitable for classified and regulated environments.
-
Four Diagnostic Tools
- Capacity Check — Verifies real card capacity within 2 seconds by reading the first and last sectors. Instantly identifies counterfeit or mislabeled CF cards — a critical step in incoming quality control.
- H3 Safe Read Test — Reads every sector on the card and reports bad sector count and average read speed. Non-destructive — existing data and formatting are preserved.
- H5 Write/Read Test — Writes machine-generated patterns to every sector, then reads them back to verify. Destructive — the card is reformatted to FAT after testing. This is the most thorough quality assessment for new or suspect cards.
- H6 Safe Write/Read Test — Writes and reads only the empty sectors on a card, testing quality without disturbing existing data or formatting. Requires the card to be FAT16/32 formatted. All tests report per-port results with bad sector count, capacity, and read/write speeds on the LCD. Configurable minimum speed thresholds, error tolerance limits, capacity range filters, and loop counts let you define pass/fail criteria that match your production standards.
-
Asynchronous (Plug & Go) Operation
When enabled, asynchronous mode lets you remove completed target cards and insert new ones without stopping the batch — the system detects new cards and begins copying automatically. This keeps your production line moving continuously without resetting or restarting. -
Bit-by-Bit Hardware Compare
After any copy, run the Compare function to perform a rigorous bit-for-bit verification of every target against the source. This hardware-level check is far more reliable than checksum-only validation and catches even single-bit copy errors. -
Swappable Modular Sockets
CF card sockets are mounted on removable faceplates secured with hand screws — no tools needed. If a socket wears out from high-volume use, swap it in minutes without sending the entire unit for service. Replacement sockets are available from U-Reach. -
Real-Time PC Monitoring
Connect the duplicator to a PC via the rear USB port and launch the included LV07B monitoring software. View real-time duplication progress, per-port status, speed, and error information on your computer screen. Ideal for operators managing multiple units or tracking production from a central workstation. -
Checksum Calculation
Calculate the CRC64 checksum of your source card at any time using Function 6.8. Record and compare checksum values across production runs to verify that your golden master hasn't drifted — an important QC step for firmware and image distribution.
